Farmland Conservation Club is members-only.

Membership dues are a one-time $300 initiation fee plus $95 yearly dues. Orientations and safety training are presented on the second Tuesday and last Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm by prior arrangement. Please mail your application to the address at the bottom of this page.

The safety videos are also available on our website. Upon completing the orientation, your completed forms and dues will be collected.

A family membership includes spouse and all dependent children, including those dependents who are continuing their education. Memberships are non-transferable. (Family memberships may be transferred to surviving spouse.

Dues are to be paid by January 31st of each calendar year. There will be a $25 late fee added after the due date.

We do not offer partial year, monthly, or weekend memberships.

Guests from the local area (100-mile radius) are permitted one visit per year with member.

Guests visiting you from outside the local area (>100 miles) are permitted to visit the Club with you.

Membership meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in the clubhouse. Board meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm in the clubhouse.

Archery practice is permitted in the east woods only where targets are available for use. No broadheads but crossbows are permitted.

Rangefinders are permitted in Open Archery events.

Range rules are posted on the website and at the range. Paper targets only except for Club-sponsored events.

We have three short ranges: 7, 25 and 50 yards. The 25- and 50-yard ranges may be used for .22LR rifles and the initial sighting of large caliber rifles.

We have three long ranges: 100, 200 and 300 yards. Shoot from a bench appropriate for the range you are using.

Farmland Conservation Club has five concrete pathways for shooting doubles. Open to members, the Club shoots are Thursday evenings at 6:00pm. Shoots begin March 16 and run through November 16 this year.

Camping is permitted in designated areas only. Camping is not to exceed three consecutive nights. Equipment is not to be left unattended for over 24 hours.

Primitive camping only. There is no electricity or water hook-up.

Campfires are permitted in the fire rings. Firewood is available. Shower is available in the clubhouse.

Club rental fees per day are as follows:

Clubhouse – $150 (+$150 damage deposit)
Clubhouse Wedding – $500 (+$500 damage deposit)
Shelter House – $25
Dog Fields (east and west) – $175
Both Fields – $300

Farmland Conservation Club has a DNR dog training permit for the East Field. This permit allows 20 acres to be used year-round, using pen-raised native game birds (pheasant and bobwhite quail) and non-native game birds (everything else).

A second permit for the West Field will not be issued by the DNR. The West Field can be used with native pen-raised game birds during the regular Indiana state game bird hunting season and non-native game birds year-round.

Groups wishing to rent the training fields should abide by these rules or obtain a special permit from the DNR allowing them to shoot pen-raised game birds in the West Field.

Bait: Minnows are not to be used.

Types of fish: Currently bass, bluegill, catfish and redear.

Boats: Gas motors are not allowed on the ponds; electric motors are allowed. The Club does not own any boats but boats lying near the water may be used on the pond. You may bring your own boat.

Flotation devices: Each person in a boat shall have a wearable Coast Guard approved flotation device. Oars and flotation devices are available in the storage box on the pier. Boats over 16′ must also have a throwable flotation device carried on board.

Swimming, horseback riding, hunting, and motorized vehicles (Including but not limited to ATVs, golf carts, etc. Vehicles used during FCC-sponsored events are an exception.)

Open to members, the Club shoots are Thursday evenings at 6:00pm. Shoots begin March 16 and run through November 16 this year. A 25-round trap shoot is $5.50; a 10-round modified angry bird is $4.00.
